Ukodhiko Attends APC Stakeholders’ Meeting In Asaba, Party Endorses Tinubu, Oborevwori For 2027

The member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Engr. (Pst.) Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, on Sunday, attended the All Progressives Congress (APC) Delta State Stakeholders’ Meeting held at the Government House Banquet Hall, Asaba.

The high-powered meeting, which drew together key stakeholders, leaders, and party faithful from across the 25 local government areas of the state, provided a platform for robust deliberation on political realignment, party cohesion, and developmental strategies ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to reports, discussions at the closed-door session centered on strengthening the APC structure in Delta State, harmonizing interests, and fostering unity among party members to ensure a formidable presence at both state and national levels.

A major highlight of the event was the unanimous endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term as the APC presidential candidate and Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, the incumbent Governor of Delta State, as the sole APC gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 elections a move described by party stalwarts as a bold step toward political synergy and continuity of development.

Speaking after the meeting, Hon. Ukodhiko commended the initiative of the party leadership for convening the strategic gathering, noting that such engagements are vital for fostering political stability, internal democracy, and collective progress within the state.

He lauded President Tinubu for his reform-driven administration and praised Governor Oborevwori’s leadership style, which he said reflects inclusivity, pragmatism, and a genuine commitment to the advancement of Delta State.
