Ukodhiko Affirms Dedication to Establishing Unified Isoko Youth Organization”

Member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, Tuesday, has restated his commitment towards ensuring Isoko youths have a single, unified youth body for meaningful engagement.
In a meeting with the leadership of Comrade Eniwake Orogun’s Isoko National Youth Assembly and Comrade Iraroraina Obokpaino’s Isoko Development Union-Youth Wing at his Erawha-Owhe countryhome, Ukodhiko applauded the youth bodies for their efforts in advocacy, orientation and empowerment of their members.
While urging the Isoko youths to unite strongly behind the political leadership of Isoko nation, the federal lawmaker promised to incorporate more youths in his representation and governance of Isoko.
“This is the first time, I am having a meeting with the two different youth bodies in Isoko nation. I must thank you people sincerely for the support given to me and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori during the last general elections that saw to our emergence.
“Also, I must commend you for your various slogans of your bodies which are about the betterment of our Isoko-nation.
“I must say, the only way we can truly move forward and fight for the development of our people is for us to be united. Yes, for we must know, that, division tears people apart.
“I must also urge you people to have more synergies and interact more often as you people have a lot to gain from the engagements.
“Let us try as a people to promote the good ideas, and interests of Isoko nation always just as it’s important for us to discontinue pulling our people down, especially our leaders.
He said, the Delta State Government is in support of the unity of Isoko nation and a single, unified youth body.
Earlier, Rep Ukodhiko stated he was ready to support good ideas put up and that he is ready to accept constructive criticisms.
Speaking at the meeting, Senior Special Assistant on Petroleum Monitoring to the Delta State Governor, Hon Mike Ogwah, sought the cooperation of the youths for Ukodhiko in order to bring more dividends to the people of Isoko.
In their remarks, Comrades Orogun and Obokpaino thanked Hon Ukodhiko for the meeting, and commended him for the quality representation been given to the Isoko people.
They called on the political class to lead the efforts of the unity of Isoko nation, and to, involve the youths in critical decision making citing the non inclusion of the youths in the recent visit to Governor Oborevwori last Tuesday.
