Udu Women in Govt. Hold Monthly Meeting, Set to Launch Empowerment Scheme

**Udu, Delta State – The Udu Women in Government, under the leadership of Mrs. Vivian Ogheneovo JP, convened their monthly meeting yesterday, hosted by Mrs. Josephine Apah. The gathering included female appointees of the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Elder Sheriff F.O Oborevwori, focusing on ensuring that women in the party are not left behind and announcing plans for a new empowerment scheme.
During the meeting, the group outlined their initiative to launch an empowerment scheme starting in July, aimed at benefiting all stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). This scheme is part of their broader commitment to promote inclusivity and support for women within the party.
The Udu Women in Government also took the opportunity to congratulate Hon. Chief Vincent Oyibode Ogheneruemu on his successful nomination as the PDP consensus candidate for the Chairmanship in Udu Local Government Area. They extended their congratulations to the twenty PDP DESIEC ward councillorship candidates, emphasizing the importance of unity and support within the party.
