Udu Secretariat Glows With Solar Power: NULGE Chairman Commends Oyibode’s Visionary Leadership.

The Udu Local Government Secretariat was bathed in radiant illumination last night following the successful installation of solar-powered electricity across the council premises. The transformation drew widespread admiration, with Comrade Mathew Aghoghophia Emuejevwe, Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Udu Chapter, expressing astonishment and praise for the development.

Speaking during a nighttime visit to the Secretariat, Comr. Emuejevwe said, “At first sight, I couldn’t recognize the Council where I have worked for years. It was simply marvelous. This is a bold and commendable step by the Executive Chairman. High Chief Hon. Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode JP, FCIA, clearly means well for Udu.”

The NULGE Chairman added with emphasis, “More projects are coming. Udu is truly fortunate. This kind of leadership is rare. If you haven’t seen it, you’re missing out—Udu is shining!”

The solar electrification project is one of several infrastructure initiatives rolled out under the administration of High Chief Hon. Vincent Oyibode. Staff and residents alike have lauded the move as a step toward sustainable development, improved service delivery, and energy efficiency.
