UDU POLITICAL STAKEHOLDERS MEET TO FOSTER UNITY AND DEVELOPMENT IN THE KINGDOM

In a renewed move to strengthen peace, unity, and political cohesion in Udu Kingdom, political gladiators and stakeholders across party lines gathered on Monday, October 20, 2025, for a high-powered meeting convened by the Political Engagement and Reconciliation Committee of Udu Kingdom. The historic meeting took place at The Royal Palace, Otor-Udu Town, under the distinguished authority of His Royal Majesty, Engr. Michael Ogheneovo Orugbo, JP, the Ovie of Udu Kingdom.
The meeting, which was well-attended by notable political leaders, traditional representatives, and opinion leaders, focused extensively on strategies to promote unity, growth, and sustainable development within the Kingdom. Discussions were described as fruitful and forward-looking, with participants reaffirming their commitment to peaceful coexistence and collective progress.
In a communiqué issued at the end of the meeting, the Committee appreciated all attendees for their show of patriotism and urged continuous cooperation with the Committee to achieve the noble objectives of the Kingdom’s reconciliation and development agenda.
Speaking on behalf of the Committee, the Secretary, Austin Nyekigbe, Esq., LL.M., expressed optimism that Udu Kingdom would experience “fresh air and rapid development” under the reign of His Royal Majesty, Engr. Michael Ogheneovo Orugbo, JP.
He emphasized that the Committee remains resolute in fostering understanding among all political divides, stressing that genuine reconciliation is key to sustainable peace and progress.
As Udu Kingdom looks forward to a new era of harmony and development, the Political Engagement and Reconciliation Committee reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the vision of a united and prosperous Udu under the revered monarch.
