Udu PDP Women Leaders Pay Familiarization Visit to Udu Council Chairman.
In a show of support and unity, the Udu Local Government Area Women’s wing of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), led by the LGA Woman Leader, Mrs. Igho Betty, paid a familiarization visit to the Udu Local Government Council Chairman at his office in Otor-Udu today Friday 15/11/24.
During the visit, Mrs. Betty commended the Council Chairman’s commitment to an inclusive governance approach, expressing pride in his dedication to the well-being of the people of Udu. She highlighted the women leaders’ appreciation of his pragmatic and democratic leadership, remarking, “We are here to let you know that Udu PDP Women Leaders are proud of your approach to governance, and we pray that God grants you more grace to continue the good work for Udu people.”
The Council Chairman acknowledged the women’s kind words and affirmed his commitment to Udu Kingdom saying, “I am here to work for Udu, to serve the Party, and to honor the trust placed in me by Udu PDP Women Leaders and the entire Udu people. By His grace, I will uphold my responsibilities and deliver on the MORE agenda of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Delta State.”
A highlight of the visit was the presentation of gifts to the Council Chairman, which included wrappers and a copy of the Holy Bible, symbolizing their goodwill and encouragement for his continued dedication to the people of Udu.
This visit underscores the ongoing collaboration and unity within the PDP in Udu, as leaders and supporters continue to work together to fulfill the aspirations of the community.
