Udu Monarch Convenes Stakeholders’ Meeting October 20 To Foster Unity, Political Stability And Development

In a renewed effort to strengthen unity, political stability, and sustainable development in Udu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Engr. Michael Ogheneovo Orugbo, JP, the Ovie of Udu Kingdom, has summoned a crucial stakeholders meeting of illustrious sons and daughters of the kingdom.
The meeting, which is being organized under the directive of the Ovie and coordinated by the Political Engagement and Reconciliation Committee chaired by Chief (Dr.) Mrs. Cecilia Ibru, CON, OFR, is scheduled to hold on Monday, October 20, 2025, at The Royal Palace, Otor-Udu, by 12 noon.
According to the Secretary of the Political Engagement and Reconciliation Committee, Austin E. Nyekigbe, Esq., LL.M, the meeting aims to chart a collective course toward strengthening peace, fostering mutual understanding among political actors, and promoting the overall progress of Udu Kingdom.
Nyekigbe emphasized that the gathering will bring together key stakeholders, political leaders, traditional chiefs, community heads, and opinion leaders across the Udu landscape to deliberate on issues of common interest and the future development of the kingdom.
He noted that the presence of all invited stakeholders is of great importance, as their input and collaboration are critical to the success of the peace and reconciliation drive championed by the monarch.
The Udu Kingdom, known for its rich cultural heritage and growing political influence in Delta State, continues to take proactive steps under the leadership of HRM Orugbo to ensure unity, inclusivity, and sustainable socio-political advancement.
