Udu Council Chairman Mourns the Death of Political Icon Tere, Extends Condolences to Family”

The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Hon. Chief Jite Brown (JP), has expressed his sadness over the passing away of the former majority Leader of the Udu Legislative Arm and ex-Vice Chairman of Udu Local Government, late Hon. John Tere.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, when Hon.Chief Jite Brown represented by the Vice of Udu Local Government Council,Hon. Barrister Mrs. Eloho Awinoron, Hon. Samuel Dawho, Udu SLG, Hon. Agberia Oghoifo,Supervisory Councillor for Finance Udu LGC and Hon. Voke Bukuta, Supervisory Councillor for Health yesterday Wednesday 22/11/23 paid a condelence visit to the Tere’s family of Ujevwu Community in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, described the late Tere as a thorough breed politician who contributed his quota to the development of Udu Local Government and Delta State in general.
Hon. Jite while commiserating with the family of the late Political juggernaut, urged them to uphold the ideals he stood for, saying that Udu Local Government, the People Democratic Party PDP in Udu and Delta State Government will continue to draw inspiration from his life and times. “His demise, at this time is not only painful but regrettable, adding that “the late Hon. John Tere paid his dues and has left his political footprints on the sands of time. “On behalf of Udu Local Government Council and people of Udu Kingdom , I want to express our heartfelt condolence to the Onomuakpokpo family of late Hon John Tere , the people of Ujevwu, and Urhobo nation on this great and irreparable loss. He was a pride to the Urhobo nation and we will surely miss him,” Hon. Jite said.
