Show of Solidarity: Ukodhiko Joins Dignitaries At Late Deaconess Emeigho’s Funeral
The Member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, on Saturday, joined other dignitaries to pay his last respects at the funeral ceremony of Late Deaconess Mrs. Janet E. Emeigho, mother-in-law of Hon. Sunday Efemena (popularly known as Fela), Councillor representing Owhelogbo Ward 1 in Isoko North Local Government Area.
The funeral service and reception, held at Oregbe Primary School, Owhelogbo, drew a large turnout of family members, friends, political associates, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of the late matriarch.
Among the dignitaries present were Hon. Elder Godwin Ogorugba, Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area; Hon. Tutumor Daniel, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State; Hon. Jahswill Asaba, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State; Hon. Harry Okposo, Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State; and Amb. Orevaoghene Efenudo, Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State, among others.
Rep. Ukodhiko’s attendance at the event highlighted his compassionate leadership style, sense of community, and unwavering solidarity with constituents and political associates in times of both joy and sorrow.
The lawmaker, known for his humility and accessibility, extended his heartfelt condolences to Hon. Sunday Efemena and the entire Emeigho family, praying for God’s comfort and strength to bear the irreparable loss.
