Rep. Ukodhiko rejoices with Monday Onyeme at 59
Member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, has congratulated Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme on his 59th birth anniversary.
Rep. Ukodhiko, in a statement on Saturday signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Ajirioghene Oreh, lauded Onyeme for his hardwork, dedication and commitment to public services which he said, have impacted the state and its people positively.
The Isoko federal lawmaker described the Delta Deputy Governor as a kind-hearted philanthropist, highly successful accountant, seasoned administrator, quintessential public servant and a humane politician.
He said; “Your Excellency, since your emergence as the Deputy Governor, you have been a supportive partner to our leader and Governor of the State, bringing to bear in the discharge of your duties, your wealth of experience and expertise in public service in advancing Delta.
“We recognize your immense contributions to the growth and development of the State in particular and the nation at large as a former Bursar, National Open University, Chairman of Delta State Board of Internal Revenue and now, as a Deputy Governor.
“It is with great pleasure, on behalf of my family, the leaders and people of Isoko-nation, I extend my warmest congratulations to our amiable Deputy Governor and a dependable leader, His Excellency, Chief (Sir) Monday John Onyeme on his 59th birth anniversary on March 30.
“I celebrate you for the humble and simple life you live, which readily endears you to all and sundry. You epitomizes loyalty to one’s principal, and mutual respect for everyone regardless of age and social status, qualities young politicians in the state have to learn and emulate.”
Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, Deputy Chairman, House of Representatives’ Committee on Science and Technology prayed to God to continue to endow Sir Monday Onyeme with excellent spirit, wisdom and good health to make meaningful contributions to a grater Delta State as a Deputy Governor.
