Multiple Chief Freeborn Ayoma, the Present Otota of Iwhrekreka Community and a former President-General, has appealed to all intending aspirants eyeing the Udu/Ughelli South Federal Constituency seat in the forthcoming 2027 general elections to shelve their ambitions and rally behind the incumbent lawmaker, Rt. Hon. (Rev.) Ejiroghene Francis Waive.

Ayoma made the appeal on Saturday during the official opening of A1 Hotel and Suites in Aladja, Udu Local Government Area of Delta State. He described Rev. Waive as a performing legislator whose impact has been visibly felt across the constituency.

According to him, the establishment of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Ovwian, facilitated by Hon. Waive, has created massive employment opportunities for youths, thereby reducing the rate of unemployment within the area.

While commending Rev. Waive’s accessibility and legislative productivity, Ayoma noted that the lawmaker has sponsored and supported several people-oriented bills and motions that have contributed to the progress of his constituents and the nation at large.

He stated, “Rev. Waive has proven to be a true representative of the people. His projects and accessibility are second to none. I am calling on all intending aspirants for the Udu/Ughelli South Federal Constituency seat to queue behind him for continuity and greater development.”

Ayoma, who was flanked by Double Chief Wilson Ejeben, Chairman of the Urhobo Oil and Gas Palace Representatives; Barr. Ige Asemudara, a human rights lawyer; and Chief Julius Badidi at the ceremony, reiterated that politics should be about service delivery and consolidation of achievements, not personal ambition.

He emphasized that supporting Rt. Hon. Waive for another term would ensure sustained progress and development in Udu and Ughelli South federal constituency.
