Pastor Uyeh Holds Thanksgiving Service On His Induction As 6th LAWNA Territorial chairman &Vice Chairman TACN

It was a moment of joy and celebration When Pastor Senior Gabriel Okpako Uyeh give thanks to God Almighty on his induction as the 6th Chairman of Lagos, Western, Northern, Areas (LAWNA)Territory and Vice-chairman of The Apostolic Church of Nigeria.

The Special Thanksgiving Service was held at the The Apostolic Church of Nigeria, Uzere District, Oleh Area, LAWNA Territory Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Speaking at the Thanksgiving Service, the 6th Territorial Chairman of LAWNA said that, “I don’t like to show off, I am just like a worm, but I am grateful to God Almighty for what I am today.”

He reiterates that “I don’t want to talk about my calling here, I came to serve God not because of position or because of prophecy. I accepted to serve God Almighty.”

According to him, “I passed through all the categories, beginning as a free worker without salary and a train worker from there I became a pastor. Later a section pastor from there I was ordained as an Apostle, a superintendent and I was brought to Oleh as area superintendent, executive of the church and later vice-chairman. From there I was made a chairman and inducted as a 6th LAWNA chairman on December 3rd 2023.”

Earlier on Pastor I. I Ibe, Superintendent Warri Area who took the brief exaltation, anchored his sermon from book of Psalm 89 vs 1 dwell on the topic God Convenant with Pastor Senior Gabriel Okpako Uyeh like that of King David.

He liken the thanksgiving event to what God had done for King David in the Bible that prompt him to always give thanks to God.

He added that Just like King David Whom God took from the bush as shepherd like our Pastor Senior Uyeh to rule over his people.

He opined that an ordained man of God must be patient to gather experience so that the God given mantle will not fall.

In his brief remark, the Ovie of Emede Kingdom, HRM Johnson Egbo, Ewhiri 11 said “today is the day the Lord has made, we rejoice with our father whom God has elevated who decided to come and celebrate. Anybody here that forget his root does not know where he is going.”

He noted that the Bible says that the fruit that did not bear fruit will be cut off. We are very grateful to God Almighty for the life of Pastor Uyeh

In his vote of thanks, Prince Sam Ogrih gave thanks to God Almighty for the life of Pastor Uyeh. He also thanked all those who honoured the invitation for the thanksgiving service.

Highlight of the thanksgiving was choir ministration by various District of The Apostolic Church of Nigeria and Uzere Christian Association choir.

The thanksgiving service was attended by the Delta State Governor by Elder Sheriff Oborevwori who was represented Prince Johnson Erijo Chief of Staff Government House, Asaba, Evangelist Solomon Ogba, former Athletic Federation of Nigeria President, Elder Daniel Olokor, Chief Askia Ogieh former MD DESOPADEC, HRM Isaac Udogri Ovie of Uzere Kingdom, Engr. Goodluck Idele former caretaker chairman Isoko South Local Government Area and Prof. Ben Owhe from DELSU, TACN church leaders and several well wishers and friends across the nation.
