Oyibode Congratulates Oputa On Ascension As Obi Of Aboh Kingdom.
The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Olorogun (Hon.) Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode JP, FCIA, has congratulated Dr. Greg Nnamdi Oputa on his emergence as the Obi of Aboh Kingdom in Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State.
The traditional kingmakers of Aboh Kingdom officially announced Dr. Oputa as the successor to HRM Obi Imegwu II on Wednesday, September 12, 2024. The announcement was met with widespread jubilation across the kingdom, reflecting the overwhelming approval of the people for the kingmakers’ choice.
In his message of congratulations, Oyibode, a close friend of the new monarch, expressed his delight at Dr. Oputa’s selection, describing the jubilation across Aboh as clear evidence of a wise and popular decision. He further emphasized that the process leading to Dr. Oputa’s emergence was transparent, credible, and widely accepted by the people.
Oyibode highlighted that the ascension of Dr. Oputa heralds a new era for the Aboh Kingdom, bringing hope and renewed expectations for its people. He called on all sons and daughters of the kingdom to rally behind the new Obi, stressing the importance of unity in building a prosperous future.
