Ogbagah Praises Kofa Kingsley’s Integrity, Journalism Legacy on Birthday

The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ughelli Correspondents Chapel, Comrade Prince Dr. Mathias Ogbagah, has congratulated an ardent member of the chapel, Comrade Kofa Kingsley on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

In a well worded congratulatory message released through the Secretary of the Chapel, Comrade Henry Ubus, the Chairman described the celebrant as a seasoned journalist who has carved a niche for himself in the journalism profession over the decades.

Comrade Ogbagah noted that Comrade Kofa Kingsley remains one of the respected veterans within the chapel whose contributions to professional journalism and union activities have been impactful. He particularly recalled his exemplary role as Chairman of the Electoral Committee during the last NUJ Ughelli Correspondents Chapel election, where he demonstrated transparency, fairness, and a strong commitment to democratic principles.

According to the Chairman, the celebrant is a man of integrity and an embodiment of humility despite his intimidating professional profile and wealth of experience in the media industry.

He further commended Comrade Kofa for his dedication to ethical journalism, objectivity in reportage, and his unwavering commitment to the ideals of the NUJ.

Comrade Ogbagah prayed that the new age of the veteran journalist would usher in greater accomplishments, sound health, and more years of meaningful service to the journalism profession and humanity.
