Oborevwori’s Thisday/Arise Governor-of-the-year award well deserved – UYLA
The Urhobo Youth Leaders’ Association (UYLA) has described as well deserved, the Governor of the Year Award, bestowed on the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori by the management of the THISDAY Newspaper and ARISE Television.
UYLA’s National President, Olorogun (Amb) Samuel Onoriode Oghotomo (JP), and National Secretary, Olorogun (Dr.) Augustine Ogheneovo Atiti, congratulated Governor Oborevwori, acknowledging his accomplishments and commitment to Delta State’s development.
According to UYLA’s statement, “Governor Oborevwori has achieved remarkable progress in Delta State, particularly in the areas of infrastructure development, human capital development, civil servants welfare, improved security and enhanced service delivery. Notably, the governor’s administration has engaged renowned construction giant, Julius Berger PLC and other competent contractors, to undertake critical projects in Warri, Effurun, and across the state. These initiatives have been ongoing for the past twenty months, with visible impacts on the state’s development”.
UYLA further stated that, “the governor’s vision for Delta State, as outlined in his MORE Agenda, prioritizes sustainable development, peace, and security. His commitment to providing good governance and addressing the needs of the people has earned him recognition and appreciation from the management of the Thisday/Arise”.
UYLA affirmed that, “the Thisday/Arise Governor-of-the-year award is a testament to Governor Oborevwori’s dedication to the welfare and progress of Delta State”.
