Oborevwori’s Supreme Court Victory, Vindication Of His Landslide Victory – Jite Brown
By Henry Ubus
Following the recent Supreme Court verdict affirming Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as the winner of the March 18th, 2023 Delta Gubernatorial polls, the Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Hon. Chief Jite Brown (JP) has said the nation’s apex court ruling has finally vindicated the Governor’s land slide outing and acceptability by the vast majority of Deltans.
In response to the recent outcome of the case in Abuja, Hon. Chief Jite emphasized that the Tribunal, Appeal Court, and now Supreme Court verdicts have conclusively ended all speculations regarding the authentic winner of the Delta 2023 Governorship election.
The Udu Council Boss said the Supreme Court victory of the Governor has also validated the incontrovertible fact that Deltans freely gave their mandate to him (Oborevwori) as could be attested to by the landslide outcome across the three Senatorial districts of the State.
Hon Jite further aserted that “With all litigations concerning the Saturday, March 8th, 2023 Delta Governorship polls put to an end by the Supreme Court affirmation of Rt.Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, as duly and validly elected Governor of Delta State, the stage is set for Deltans to expect MORE Meaningful development through the provision of Opportunities for all, Realistic reforms and Enhanced peace and security for all.
The Chief Security officer of Udu therefore appealed to Deltans to continue to remain supportive of the present administration and shun acts likely to engender divisive tendencies that will bring disunity among the various ethnic groups of the State
