Maurice Ojo-Ede Joins Oborevwori, Keyamo In Commissioning Life-Changing Projects In Delta State
Warri, Delta State – June 4, 2025 — In a historic moment for Delta State, Dr. Maurice Ojo-Ede, Founder of the OMO Foundation, joined Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Hon. Festus Keyamo, to commission a range of transformative healthcare and infrastructure projects in Warri—marking what many have described as a day of renewed hope.
The day commenced at Central Hospital, Warri, with the commissioning of advanced medical equipment, aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery across the state. The newly unveiled assets include:
Eight dialysis machines distributed to hospitals statewide,
Three Nipro Hemodialysis Machines installed specifically at Central Hospital Warri, and
25 cutting-edge 4D Ultrasound Scan machines, allocated to each of Delta State’s 25 Local Government Areas.
Hon. Keyamo led the ceremonial ribbon-cutting, hailing the moment as a turning point in the state’s medical journey and a demonstration of responsive governance.
Following the healthcare commissioning, the team proceeded to inaugurate a critical infrastructure project covering:
10.9 kilometers of newly constructed roads, and
9.03 kilometers of drainage systems, designed to combat flooding and improve urban planning.
Among the major highlights were the rehabilitation of Upper and Lower Erejuwa Roads, as well as seven additional cluster roads strategically selected to enhance transportation and economic connectivity in Warri.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Keyamo praised the Oborevwori-led administration’s implementation of the More Agenda, describing the initiatives as “a visible commitment to sustainable growth, healthcare excellence, and infrastructure development.”
Dr. Maurice Ojo-Ede, whose foundation has championed grassroots empowerment and social impact projects, reaffirmed his support for the government’s efforts and emphasized the importance of collaborative leadership in delivering dividends of democracy to the people.
