Lion Wagbatsoma Installed As District Governor, District 404A1
The Colourful Public Presentation of Lion Fortune Wagbatsoma MJF, NLCF as District Governor, International Association of Lion’s Clubs, District 404A1 was held August 14th, 2021 at Brownhill Event Centre, Ogunu, Warri, Delta State.
The fun-filled ceremony which had many side-attractions featured Lion’s Clubs Bigwigs, Past International Director, Area Leaders, Past District Governors, respected Partners. Others who were present are Region Chairpersons, Zone Chairpersons, Club Presidents and their Executives, Members and many more too numerous to mention.
Lion Fortune Wagbatsoma gets to her excited state at the events when Lion Tokunbo Aromolaran PMJF, NLCF, the Immediate Past District Governor officially performed the Installation of the District Governor which welcomes a lot’s of applause and jubilation resulting to the dancing, singing and expression of appreciation to all attendees.
Speaking at the events, the District Governor, Lion Fortune Wagbatsoma highlighted her plans to take District 404A1 to an enviable height where she noted that her administration will focused on enhancing services through building “BONDS OF KINDNESS”.
She further stated that the district will also focus on Supporting weak clubs through a well defined sustainability plan and a better community engagement, she noted that
Improving Members Satisfaction through a team approach to new club development, member recruitment, retention, global service and leadership development as well as seeking out new local partnership that address our 5 Global Causes that will enable us spread our impacts to more beneficiaries is also part of our frontline focus.
The District Governor who expressed joy and happiness, appreciated all men and women of goodwill, donors, agencies and organizations that have partnered with us and those who has shown Interest in supporting us in alleviating the plight of the vulnerable in our society.”
“Let’s continue to build Bonds Of Kindness, let’s identify with the laudable objectives of the International Association of Lions Clubs by becoming a Lion or partner with Lions Clubs to bring succor to the vulnerable” Wagbatsoma added.
Highpoint of the events was the demonstration of joy and happiness by the District Governor through a dancing steps as well as cutting of the Cakes with Club leaders, Partners and Club Members.
