Kpomah Applauds Oborevwori Over Approved Rehabilitation of ECN–Udu Road, Other Projects.

The Chairman of the Udu Communities Youth Leaders Forum (UCYLF) and Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Youth Mobilization, Deacon Kelvin Kpomah, has expressed profound appreciation to the Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, for mentioning key infrastructural projects affecting Udu Kingdom during the State Executive Council meeting.

Kpomah commended the governor for his commitment to the development of Udu particularly for highlighting the proposed rehabilitation and reconstruction of the Otu-Jeremi/Udu Road, which stretches from the Warri–Port Harcourt Expressway at ECN Junction to the DSC Expressway during excos meeting.

According to him, the road project is of immense importance to residents and commuters in the area, as it will significantly ease transportation challenges and stimulate economic activities within Udu and its environs.

The UCYLF chairman also lauded the governor for approving erosion control works along the Ekakpamre/Ekrokpe/Usiefrun/Orhuwhorun roads, noting that the intervention would help curb the persistent environmental challenges affecting communities along the corridor.

He further expressed gratitude to the governor for the planned construction of internal and external roads at Udu Harbour Market, as well as the construction of Igbogidi Road, off Orhuwhorun Road, and the Udu Market Access Road, describing the projects as strategic to boosting commerce and improving accessibility within the local government area.

Kpomah equally extended appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode, for his unwavering support and commitment towards the realization of the ECN Road project.

He also acknowledged the traditional ruler of the kingdom, Okporua I, for his pivotal role and consistent advocacy that contributed to bringing the project to the front burner of government attention.

Describing the development as a major step towards addressing the infrastructural needs of Udu Kingdom, Kpomah noted that the people of the area are grateful to the Oborevwori administration for its responsiveness to their yearnings.

He therefore called on the people of Udu and Deltans in general to continue to support the governor’s MORE Agenda and urged them to vote massively for Governor Oborevwori in the 2027 gubernatorial election in appreciation of his developmental strides across the state.
