Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Youth Development and Director-General of Team Oguma, Deacon Kelvin Kpomah, has commended a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Olorogun John U. Oguma, for his generous donation of ₦500 million to the Delta State Security Fund.
Speaking on Wednesday in Asaba, Deacon Kpomah described the gesture as an exceptional act of patriotism and a clear demonstration of Olorogun Oguma’s deep commitment to the peace, progress, and security of Delta State.
According to Kpomah, the donation is not only timely but also reflects Olorogun Oguma’s unflinching passion for the wellbeing of Deltans, irrespective of political affiliations.
“Olorogun John Oguma has once again proven that true leadership transcends party lines. His decision to contribute ₦500 million towards strengthening security in Delta State shows his love for humanity and his commitment to the safety and prosperity of our people,” Kpomah stated.
The youth leader, who also serves as the National Secretary of the U3 Youth Wing, urged other well-meaning Deltans and corporate organizations to emulate Olorogun Oguma’s noble example by supporting government efforts to maintain peace and security across the state.
He further praised Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for creating an enabling environment that encourages private sector participation in governance, noting that the synergy between government and stakeholders is vital to achieving sustainable development in Delta State.
