Jonathan Ukodhiko Launches Two-Day Free Medical Outreach for Isoko Communities
In a move aimed at enhancing preventive healthcare and early disease detection in Isoko communities, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has announced a two-day Community Medical Outreach for his constituents.
The outreach, organized in collaboration with the Federal Cooperative College, Oji-River, Enugu State, and Abeam Global Resources Ltd, is scheduled as follows:
Thursday, 19th February 2026 – Central Hospital, Oleh
Friday, 20th February 2026 – General Hospital, Ozoro
During the exercise, residents will have access to free health screenings, including:
Breast cancer
Cervical cancer
Prostate cancer
Sickle cell disease
Basic eye examinations, with free distribution of reading glasses
Professional medical counselling and guidance
Hon. Ukodhiko emphasized that this initiative complements the Delta State Government’s ongoing efforts to improve access to quality healthcare, reduce preventable illnesses, and promote early detection of diseases, particularly in underserved communities.
Speaking on the outreach, Hon. Ukodhiko encouraged all constituents to participate, with special emphasis on men aged forty and above to take advantage of the prostate cancer screening services.
“This is an opportunity for our people to prioritize their health and benefit from expert medical advice and screenings at no cost,” he said.
The Member concluded by expressing his anticipation of a large turnout and reiterated his commitment to supporting healthcare initiatives that positively impact the well-being of his constituents.
