Isaba Grammar School Old Student Association Congratulates Sylvester Oromoni

Warri- Isaba Grammar School Old Students Association, led by Elder Asoki Dickson Jacob Esq, has congratulated Hon. Chief Sylvester Oromoni for emerging as the Chairman of Warri South West Local Government Council in the just concluded Delta state local Government Area council elections under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who among other chairmen across the 25 LGA’s were sworn into office by the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, on Monday, July 15, 2024 at the state headquarters, Asaba,
In the statement signed by the president of the association, Eldr. (Hon.) Dickson Asoki Jacob Esq at Warri, said “I on behalf of our great Old Students Association of Isaba Grammar School congratulate our impeccable friend, classmate and colleague Chief Sylvester Oromoni for his well deserved victory at the poll as chairman of Warri South West Local Government Area Council, Ogbe-ijoh.”
The statement further added that this congratulatory message originated from both old and current students body of the association, stressing that they have faith in the ability of the chairman in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people who are majorly riverine that needed government presence the most.
He further opined that, he is confident that Oromoni will take advantage of the experience of some of the old students of the school who have successfully served in government in
various enviable capacities for advice.
The statement mentioned the likes of Barr. (Dcn.) Burutu Kingsley Otuaro, immediate past deputy governor of the State, Hon Barr. Bosin Ebikeme, a one time commissioner for transport and director of works, Hon. Fred Agbedi (currently serving honourable member in the National Assembly) as Chief Oromoni is in good position to learn from their experiences as “experience is the best teacher.”
“I am delighted to learn of your victory which no doubt is the fruit of your being consistent over the years in the belief that you will attain and occupy the highest office in the council. Your belief and doggedness accounted for your victory and hoping that more victories awaits you as this is a stepping stone to a greater political future.”
The statement also urged him to remember his alma mater as his primary constituency hoping that he will bring to bear his office in upgrading the infrastructural development of the school. Chief Oromoni was urged to remember the good old days of Isaba Grammar School and inscribed his name in gold in the historical annals of the school by changing the current status of the institution.
The president further stated, that members of the association have watched with keen interest Chief Oromoni’s gradual but steady growth in the state polity, noting that the system hold a place for him in the near future.
The association wished him a successful tenure of office and promised to pay him an official visit in due course.
