Groups Drum support for PDP Ahead of 2023 General Elections

Obiaruku the administrative headquarters of Ukwuani Local Government Area was agog yesterday September 28, 2023 as the incoming Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme met and interacted with different groups across the LGA ahead of the 2023 general elections.

During the visit, the PDP Deputy Governorship candidate met with all the formations of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN), the Joint National Association of Persons With Disabilities (JNAPWD), Great Riders (Okada & Keke) Association and all former councillors in Ukwuani Local Government Area.

Speaking at the different forums, Sir Monday Onyeme appreciated the groups for coming enmasse to receive him and his entourage; he also applauded the groups members for their resilience and the Nigeria Spirit with which they have being weathering through the APC-imposed hardship in the country.

He noted that, the PDP has presented the very best hands to rescue Nigeria from the APC and RESET Nigeria to start working again even as he added that, there is an urgent need to #RescueNigeria and RESET the country is now.

Speaking further, he lamented the pangs of the growing poverty in Nigeria since 2015 while assuring the groups that, the PDP from the Presidency to the House of Assembly promises a Nigeria where everything will start working again and people can wake each day with hope and not the looming uncertainty of everyday inflation, insecurity, ASSU strike, poor healthcare sector, High Naira Dollar exchange rate, unemployment and the endless list.

He therefore highlighted the many benefits and importance of the #RescueNigeriaMission embarked on by the PDP as well as the Advancing Delta State course while calling on the groups to vote massively for the SHERIFF/ONYEME M.O.R.E ticket and also deliver PDP 5/5 in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

According to him, “a vote for Sheriff/Onyeme is a vote for the advancement of Delta State. A vote for the PDP is a vote for a better Delta State and M.O.R.E every good thing. Don’t be deceived as a lot of persons were deceived in 2015 that brought this APC government into power,” he added.

Meanwhile, the various groups in their separate remarks, endorsed the SHERIFF/ONYEME M.O.R.E ticket and pledged their unflinching support to the PDP in the state.

Also, the executives and members of the groups voluntarily offered to join the PDP campaign team in order to contribute their little quota on the road to the 5/5 PDP God ordained victory in the 2023 General elections.
