GROUP COMMEND DELTA COUNCIL BOSS OVER PROJECT COMMENCEMENT

The leadership of CONSENSUS FOR GREATER UDU, CGU, a pro — PDP pressure group working for the success of all PDP Candidates in the coming 2023 general election in Udu Local Government Area has commend the Ogbonge sabilicious Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council and Candidate of the PDP Udu Constituency in the 2023 DTHA election, Olorogun Jite Brown JP for the commencement of the Council’s Excos Hall building project in the area.

The group made this commendation in a press statement issued today 9th September ,2022 at Otor Udu the Council headquarters.

According to the Cordinator of CGU , Mr Freeborn Onomrerhi Ovwemejephan , “this project is timely and a very good one in that when completed will be venue for the Council’s Excos Meetings , it will also provide offices for all the Council’s Supervisors and as well add more beauty to the Local Government Council Secretariat.”

Speaking further, Ovwemejephan said CGU has confident in the administration of Olorogun Jite Brown to deliver in terms of provision of infrastructures, Security, Environment and Primary Health Care in Udu Local Government Area amidst scarce rescources.

CGU call on the Federal Government to make the Local Government Council system more viable by increasing the the Local Government Councils federal allocation and enforcing the Local Government Council’s full fledge autonomy aimed at making the Local Government Councils in Nigeria more financially independent, saying that the Local Government is the closest government to the grassroots people and as such should be well funded for effective performance.

CGU while thanking Udu the Council Boss Olorogun Jite Brown JP for the commencement of this great Project, also call on him to do more for overall development of Udu , adding that with Olorogun Jite Brown, Udu Local Government Council shall be great again.
