The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Women Development, Chief Dr. Mrs. Vivian Ogheneovo has called on the people of Udu Local Government Area of Delta State to take full advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise by obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
In a statement made available to the press Chief Dr. Mrs. Ogheneovo emphasized the importance of civic participation, describing the PVC as a critical instrument for democratic engagement. “Your PVC is more than just a card it is your power to choose the leaders you deserve. With 2027 fast approaching, no one should be left out of the conversation,” she stated.
The Governor’s aide further encouraged eligible voters, particularly women and youths to actively participate in the electoral process by ensuring they are duly registered and prepared ahead of future elections.
Speaking further, Chief Dr. Mrs. Ogheneovo charged members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Udu to also register on the party’s ongoing APC e-registration platform noting that the exercise is vital for validating party membership and strengthening grassroots mobilization.
According to her proper registration
both with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and within the party structure will enhance political inclusion and ensure that the voices of Udu people are effectively represented.
She reaffirmed her commitment to women development, inclusive governance, and political awareness, urging community leaders and stakeholders to help mobilize residents to participate fully in the ongoing registration exercises.
