FMC Ovwian Introduces Immunization and Family Planning Services
The Management of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Ovwian, in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, has announced the commencement of Immunization and Family Planning services at the facility.
According to the management, the introduction of these essential healthcare services is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen maternal and child healthcare delivery, promote healthy families, and protect children against preventable diseases within Udu and its surrounding communities.
The hospital urged residents, especially expectant mothers, nursing mothers, and families of childbearing age, to take advantage of the services, stressing that early immunization and proper family planning are critical to reducing child mortality and improving overall community health outcomes.
Management further reassured the public of the hospital’s commitment to providing quality, accessible, and patient-centered healthcare services in line with national health standards.
Members of the public are therefore encouraged to visit FMC Ovwian and access these services as the facility continues to live up to its mandate of delivering professional and compassionate healthcare.
FMC Ovwian – Caring with Excellence.
