Chief Wilson Brume Ejeben, the esteemed CEO of the Wilson Ejeben Foundation, has received widespread praise for his philanthropic efforts in supporting education. Through his foundation’s various coordinators, Ejeben has distributed writing materials worth millions of naira to students in Udu, Igbokoda (Ondo State), Port Harcourt, Ughelli North, and South, among other places.

Reflecting on his own days in primary school, where he benefitted from free books marked “not for sale,” Ejeben expressed his gratitude for the blessings he has received from God. This gratitude has inspired him to give back to the community by providing essential educational resources to students in government-owned schools.

The distributed materials include notebooks, pencils, biros, and other writing essentials. Ejeben emphasized the importance of education, stating, “Education is the most powerful weapon to change the world.” By providing these resources, he aims to empower students and support their academic journey.

The initiative has been warmly received by students, parents, and educators alike, who commended Ejeben for his dedication to enhancing educational opportunities for young learners. Many have noted that such contributions significantly alleviate the financial burden on parents and ensure that students have the necessary tools to succeed academically.

It would be recalled that Ejeben’s commitment to education is not a new endeavor. In the last Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination, he provided over 150 free JAMB forms to students in Udu, Ughelli North, and South, among other places. This generous act enabled many students, who might not have had the financial means, to apply for higher education opportunities.

Ejeben’s ongoing efforts highlight his belief in the transformative power of education and his dedication to fostering academic excellence. His initiatives continue to inspire and provide tangible benefits to countless students, paving the way for a brighter future for the next generation.
