Delta State Taskforce on Environment Issues 7-Day Abatement Notice for Drainage and Residential Buildings In Ekpan
Chairman of The Delta State Taskforce on Environment, Olorogun Godspower Omafuvwe Asiuwhu JP, has frowned at the nauseating sight of clogged food wastes discharged into the drains by Owners of food stalls and restaurants along Refinery Road in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
The taskforce chairman who was ably represented by Comrade Kingsley Iweka Odiaka has also issued a 7-day abatement notice for drainages along Refinery Road opposite Ekpan Police station and a residential building at Ekpan Expressway in Uvwie Local Government Area.
Accompanied by Mr. Frank Orogun, the Warri and Environs Zone coordinator, the taskforce aims to address environmental concerns and ensure public safety in the aforementioned areas. Residents and properties owners are urged to comply with the notice to avoid further action.
The initiative underscores the commitment of the Delta State government to maintaining a clean and sustainable environment for all citizens inline with the MORE agenda.
