Delta South APC Youths Get Ukodhiko’s Nod Ahead of ‘Renewed Hope for More’ Summit

The member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Engr. (Pst.) Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, has endorsed the forthcoming Delta South APC Youth Summit during a courtesy visit by members of the Delta South APC Youth Wing to his country home in Erawha-Owhe.
The delegation, led by the Delta South Senatorial District APC Youth Leader, Comr. Ede Hyacinth Ewariezi, visited the lawmaker to brief him on the objectives of the summit and to seek his support and partnership. The summit, themed “The Renewed Hope for More”, aims to promote youth sensitisation, empowerment, and political engagement across the senatorial district.
Speaking during the visit, Comr Ewariezi, who is also the pioneer president of the Isoko Development Union (IDU) Youth Wing, commended Hon. Ukodhiko for his numerous people-orientated projects and empowerment programmes in Isoko and outlined the objectives of the summit, which will include youth orientation and empowerment sessions.
In his remarks, Hon. Ukodhiko, who also serves as the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Science and Technology, expressed appreciation to the delegation for their visit and commended their initiative.
“First, I want to thank you all for this visit and commend you for this wonderful initiative. The summit is important because it focuses on the youth, and I am confident that their active participation will give birth to a new generation of leaders who will help shape the future of Delta State and Nigeria at large,” he stated.
Hon. Ukodhiko further urged the group to remain focused and continue to support the Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in their efforts to deliver on the party’s mandate.
The highlight of the visit was the presentation of the official summit materials to Hon. Ukodhiko by the youth delegation.
