Delta PDP Defection: DTHA Lawmaker, Egbetamah Welcomes Gov. Oborevwori, Others to APC

Member Representing Udu Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA) under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Collins Egbetamah Esq. has welcomed the defunct Delta State Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and other members to APC.

Hon. Egbetamah in a statement, described the entering of the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, party leaders and members of the PDP into the APC as a symbolic move for APC and the entire state.

Egbetamah described the decision of Governor Oborevwori and other PDP heavyweights to defect to APC as a significant turning point in the political history of Delta State.

He said; “I welcome His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori Governor of Delta State and other political heavyweights of PDP to the Delta APC. I congratulate them for this great decision to our party APC and with love and unity will transform the nooks and crannies of the state.”

“This is a wonderful moment for the people of Udu, Delta State and Nigeria in general. This also signifies a turning point in our state’s political history because Oborevwor’s decision will further reunite our people and fasten development and progressive governance in the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

The lawmaker further said; “This synergy between the Federal Government and Delta State will ensure significant benefits to our people in Delta State in terms of infrastructure and human capital development. With Delta State aligning with the party at the centre, it is certain that a new chapter has been set for greater collaboration, impactful governance and a more inclusive political process.”

“Together we shall steer the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to greater heights and work tirelessly to achieve greatness for Deltans”. Egbetamah added.
