Delta APC Welcomes Ogboru Today At Ughelli, Dismisses Cancellation Rumors

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State is set to welcome the triumphant entry of Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, popularly known as the “People’s General,” into the party today, Sunday, March 9, 2025.
The grand event will take place at Ughelli Kingdom Hall, Ughelli North Local Government Area.
In a press statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Mr. Valentine Onojegbo, the Delta APC has called on party leaders, members, and the general public to turn out en masse for the official homecoming of Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru.
Onojegbo also urged the public to disregard circulating radio jingles and rumors suggesting that the formal declaration has been postponed. He reaffirmed that the event remains scheduled for today, Sunday, March 9, 2025, and that the date is unchanged and sacrosanct.
The APC State Publicity Secretary encouraged all party faithful to come out in large numbers to welcome Chief Ogboru as he formally rejoins the party.
