Delta @34:Asiuwhu, Extols Governor Oborevwori’s Leadership
As Delta State marked its 34th anniversary of creation from the old Bendel (now Edo) State today, the Chairman of the Delta State Taskforce on Environment, Olorogun Godspower Omafuvwe Asiuwhu JP, has lauded the visionary leadership of Governor, (Elder) Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori
In his goodwill message to Deltans, Olorogun Asiuwhu described the Governor as “a godly leader who has worked assiduously to bring development strides to the state through the MORE Agenda.”
He noted that the past three decades of Delta’s existence have been remarkable, but the administration of Governor Oborevwori has given fresh hope through its people-oriented policies, infrastructural expansion, and human capital development.
“Delta at 34 is indeed blessed to have a God-fearing leader like Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori. Through the MORE Agenda, he has shown true commitment to advancing our state, promoting peace, and driving sustainable development,” Asiuwhu said.
The Taskforce Chairman also urged Deltans to remain united and supportive of the government, stressing that collective responsibility and resilience will continue to position the state as a model of progress and stability in Nigeria.
As Delta celebrates this milestone, Olorogun Asiuwhu reaffirmed his unyielding support to the government’s policies and pledged the full commitment of the Taskforce on Environment in ensuring a cleaner, safer, and healthier state for all residents.
