Coalition For Good Governance Delta State Commends Oborewori, Ukodhiko For Exemplary Leadership.
As the year draws to a close, the Coalition for Good Governance Delta State has applauded the outstanding leadership and commitment to development demonstrated by the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, describing his stewardship as a turning point in the state’s democratic journey.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the coalition noted that Governor Oborevwori has remained unwavering in his dedication to good governance and infrastructural transformation across the state. According to the group, the MORE Agenda has translated into tangible legacy projects that are redefining development and ensuring that every part of the state feels the impact of governance.
“For the first time in decades, Delta State has a Governor who is resolute in delivering quality projects across board,” the statement read. “His readiness to make decisive and strategic policy choices has yielded immense benefits for Deltans, especially in infrastructure renewal and grassroots development.”
The coalition further commended the Governor for extending development initiatives to rural communities, ensuring that the dividends of democracy are not concentrated only in urban areas but are spread across all geopolitical zones of the state.
In the same vein, the coalition praised the exemplary representation of Distinguished Honourable Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, member representing Isoko North/South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. The group said Hon. Ukodhiko has distinguished himself through responsive, people-centered representation marked by empathy and consistency in advocating for the welfare of his constituents.
“Hon. Ukodhiko’s leadership style reflects deep commitment to the empowerment and development of Isoko people,” the statement added. “His contributions reinforce the kind of visionary representation needed to drive growth at both local and national levels.”
The coalition called on the people of Delta State to rally behind Governor Oborevwori and Hon. Ukodhiko ahead of 2027, expressing optimism that their leadership will continue to yield positive transformation.
