Christmas: Rep. Ukodhiko Calls for Peace and Unity, Highlights Plans for Improved Deliverables
As Christians around the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Member representing Isoko North and Isoko South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, has extended warm Christmas felicitations to his constituents, describing the season as one of hope, faith, renewal, and shared responsibility.
In his Christmas message to the people of Isoko Nation, Rep. Ukodhiko said the celebration of Christmas is a profound reminder of the triumph of light over darkness and unity over division.
He noted that the season calls for reconciliation, cooperation, and a renewed commitment to the collective destiny of the Isoko people, regardless of political affiliations, personal differences, or past disagreements.
The federal lawmaker emphasized that political unity remains the strongest catalyst for accelerated development in Isoko North and South Federal Constituency.
According to the Deputy Chairman House Committee on Science and Technology, a united political front strengthens the constituency’s voice at the national level, improves its bargaining power, and creates an enabling environment for attracting increased federal presence, strategic interventions, and sustainable development projects.
Rep. Ukodhiko explained that when leaders, stakeholders, and the people speak with one voice, development efforts are better coordinated, engagements with government institutions become more productive, and projects are delivered faster and with greater impact.
He added that unity promotes stability, boosts investor confidence, and allows leaders to focus on service delivery rather than internal distractions.
Looking ahead to 2026, the lawmaker assured the people of Isoko Nation of improved project delivery, driven by sustained legislative advocacy and renewed engagements with relevant Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.
He expressed optimism that with political harmony and collective support, the constituency would witness accelerated execution of constituency projects and increased federal interventions across critical sectors.
Rep. Ukodhiko reaffirmed that the mandate entrusted to him by the people of Isoko North and South Federal Constituency remains sacred, assuring that his focus will continue to be on effective representation, purposeful legislation, and people-centred development that delivers tangible benefits to communities.
As the Yuletide season is celebrated and a New Year approaches, Rep. Ukodhiko prayed for the peace of Christ to reign in every home, for unity to deepen among the people, and for 2026 to usher in visible development, stability, and shared prosperity across Isoko North and South Federal Constituency.
