“Choose Love Over Division” – Delta APC Chairman Urges Deltans In Easter Message
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Delta State warmly rejoices with all Deltans, especially our Christian brothers and sisters, as we celebrate this year’s Easter, commemorating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal glory.
In a goodwill message to the people of Delta State, the Party notes that Easter is more than – a date on the calendar – it is a deeply meaningful season that reminds us of sacrifice, the renewal of hope and the triumph of light over darkness. It speaks to the resilience of the human spirit and reassures us that, even in difficult times, there is always a reason to believe in a better tomorrow.
Reflecting on the significance of the season, the State Chairman, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, JP, stated, “Easter reminds us that no matter how challenging the journey may be, hope is never lost. It calls us to remain united, patient and committed to the common good of our beloved state.”
He further added, “At this time, we must consciously choose love over division, peace over conflict and service over self. These are the values that will move Delta State forward.”
Encouraging Deltans to stay optimistic, Chief Arenyeka noted, “The lessons of Easter challenge each of us to contribute, in our own way, to building a stronger and more prosperous Delta State that we can all be proud of.”
As a Party, we use this moment to call on all Deltans – regardless of background or political affiliation – to embrace the spirit of togetherness and mutual respect. Our State can only grow when we stand with one another, support worthy causes and remain committed to peace and progress.
We also urge everyone to spare a thought for the less privileged during this season, extending kindness, generosity and compassion wherever possible. Let this Easter be remembered not just for celebration, but for the positive impact we make in the lives of others.
Delta APC remains steadfast in its commitment to the well-being, sustainable development and future of our dear State under the administration of His Excellency Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori.
Together, we can build the Delta we all desire. We wish all Deltans a peaceful, joyful and truly blessed Easter.
APC Renewed Hope For M.O.R.E. Agenda.
