Charles Kwode Applauds Oborevwori For Approving Ughelli Flyover Project.
The Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Transport Matters, Hon. Tripple Chief Charles Kwode JP Onikeze of Okpanam Kingdom, Obibilogba of Effurun-Otor and Ughievwen Kingdom, has commended the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his visionary and transformative approval of the construction of a flyover in Ughelli North Local Government Area.
According to Hon. Kwode, the landmark decision underscores the Governor’s bold commitment to his M.O.R.E Agenda, particularly in the areas of Meaningful Development and Infrastructure Enhancement. He stressed that the flyover project is a long-awaited intervention aimed at addressing the perennial traffic gridlock at the Ughelli axis, which has for decades hampered free movement, economic activities, and the daily lives of residents.
“The construction of this flyover will not only decongest traffic but will also boost commerce, enhance safety, and open up new economic opportunities for Ughelli and its environs. It is indeed a strategic investment in the future of Delta State that proves this administration is attuned to the pressing needs of its citizens,” he said.
Hon. Kwode further described the Governor’s action as bold, people-oriented, and legacy-driven, noting that the project will leave an indelible mark on the state’s infrastructure landscape.
He therefore called on all relevant agencies to ensure the timely and successful execution of the project while pledging his full support and that of well-meaning Deltans towards its realization.
“Governor Oborevwori has once again shown that he is a leader who listens and acts decisively for the collective good. This project is a testament to his drive to build a stronger and more prosperous Delta State,” he added.
Signed:
Tripple Chief Hon. Charles Kwode JP
Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Transport Matters.
