Asun Congratulates Governor Oborevwori on Epoch-Making One Year Anniversary.
By Henry Ubus
Hon. Chief Johnbull Asun, former Secretary of Local Education Authority in Udu Local Government Council, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on the occasion of his epoch-making first year in office.
Chief Asun, who also served as a Special Assistant to former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, praised Governor Oborevwori for his significant achievements within his first year. In his congratulatory message, he emphasized the notable developmental strides made across Delta State, attributing these advancements to the governor’s effective leadership and vision.
Under Governor Oborevwori’s administration, Delta State has seen a remarkable transformation, turning into what Chief Asun described as a “construction site.” This characterization underscores the extensive infrastructure projects and modernization efforts that have been undertaken. Roads, schools, healthcare facilities, and other critical infrastructures have seen considerable improvements, benefiting the residents of Delta State and boosting the local economy.
Chief Asun, who also doubled as a one time Secretary to Udu local government council, lauded Governor Oborevwori for his street credibility, a term that reflects the governor’s genuine connection with and understanding of the needs of the people. This credibility, according to Chief Asun, has been a driving force behind the governor’s ability to implement impactful projects and policies that resonate with the populace.
The former Secretary also expressed his optimism about the future of Delta State under Governor Oborevwori’s leadership. He believes that the ongoing projects and the governor’s commitment to development will continue to propel the state towards unprecedented growth and prosperity.
As Delta State marks this important milestone, Chief Asun joins both indigenes and no indigenes in celebrating the achievements of the past year and looking forward to more years of sustainable development and progress. The governor’s first year in office has set a solid foundation for further advancements, promising a brighter future for all residents of Delta State. Chief Asun therefore assures all Deltans that, with Governor Oborevwori as the Captain of the State, Delta is safe and secure.
