Aladja Ward 10 PDP Women Visit Oyibode, Pledge Unwavering Support*

The Aladja Ward 10 Women of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), led by former Ward 10 PDP Women Leader, Mrs. Judith Ugen, paid a courtesy visit today, Friday 05/07/24, to the Udu PDP Chairmanship Candidate, Olorogun Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode JP FCIA, at his country home in Oghior, Udu Local Government Area, Delta State.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Mrs. Ugen and Mrs. Agberia Okobiebie congratulated Olorogun Oyibode on his candidacy and pledged their unwavering supports. They expressed their commitment to backing his leadership and his laudable programmes for Udu people as well as to mobilize support for the PDP in the 2027 general elections.

Olorogun Oyibode, visibly pleased by the visit, assured the women of his commitment to their welfare, reiterating his zero-tolerance stance on cultism. He promised to include the women in his plans and to hold regular meetings with the Udu people to gather feedback to enhance his agenda’s implementation. Emphasizing his philosophy of teaching people to fish, he highlighted his dedication to creating wealth and improving lives.

During the meeting, Olorogun Oyibode also discussed the importance of education and vocational training for women, emphasizing that empowering women is crucial for the development of Udu Kingdom.He assured the women that he would advocate for policies that support women’s education and economic empowerment.

The visit concluded with the presentation of souvenirs to Olorogun Oyibode. The Aladja Ward 10 women group comprised of four former PDP Women Leaders of Ward 10 Aladja, marking their visit as a significant endorsement for Olorogun Oyibode’s candidacy. This endorsement is expected to galvanize further support from other PDP members and stakeholders in Udu. The Ward 10 Aladja women group is made up of four former Women leaders of PDP in Aladja community.

In his closing remarks, Olorogun Oyibode reiterated his gratitude for the women’s support and emphasized that their endorsement is a testament to his commitment to inclusivity and community-driven leadership.

On ground to receive the Ward 10 Women were:Mrs. Omovie-Oputu Najite Omojewve, running mate to Olorogun Oyibode, Chief Robbert Balance, Mr. Ese Kpomah among others.
