Adams Akpominigbo Hails Emergence of Engr. Mike Orugbo as New Ovie of Udu Kingdom

Olorogun Adams Akpominigbo has hailed Engr. Mike Orugbo on his emergence as the new Ovie-elect of Udu Kingdom, Delta State.

Olorogun Adams while congratulating Engr. Mike Orugbo on his emergence as ‘the Okporua the 1, Ovie of Udu Kingdom; urged him to use his wealth of experience for the development of Udu under his reign.

Adams expressed optimism that Orugbo’s selection for the throne would bring good tidings to Udu kingdom.

In a congratulatory message, personally signed, Olorogun Adams praised Engr. Mike Orugbo’s exceptional career and the respect he commands among his people, saying; “Your selection as the new Ovie of Udu Kingdom is a proof to your remarkable achievements and the high regard in which you are held.”

The Okporua Ruling House on Friday, 6th June 2025, officially announced selection to the revered role, following a thorough process in line with the Udu Edict.

He said, “Your emergence as the new Ovie elect of Udu Kingdom, transcends personal achievement; it represents a historic, cultural, and deeply rooted milestone that embodies the essence of Udu tradition.

“Your leadership comes at a crucial time, and I am confident that you will continue to uphold and enhance the traditions and values of Udu Kingdom to an excellent height”.

He also extended warm regards and best wishes for a successful and prosperous reign under His Royal Majesty Engr. Mike Orugbos leadership.
