A Celebration of Excellence: CP Aina Adesola’s Promotion and Decoration Ceremony

On Monday, July 28, 2025, Dr Oritsegbegbemi Maurice Ojoede CEO OMO Foundation had the distinct honour of gracing the prestigious promotion and decoration ceremony of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Aina Adesola, who was officially elevated to the enviable rank of Commissioner of Police.

The momentous event was a celebration of merit, professionalism, and unflinching dedication to duty. CP Aina Adesola, who served as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations in Delta State, distinguished himself through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and an unwavering commitment to the preservation of peace and security across the region. His tenure was marked by intelligence-driven policing, proactive community engagement, and the successful execution of several high-impact security operations, which significantly boosted public confidence in the force.

His elevation to the rank of Commissioner of Police is widely regarded as a well-deserved recognition of his selfless service to the Nigerian Police Force and the nation at large. It is a testament to his integrity, competence, and the respect he commands within the policing community.

Following the formal decoration, Dr Oritsegbegbemi Maurice Ojoede had the privilege of accompanying the newly-promoted CP Aina Adesola on a courtesy visit to the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters, Louis Edet House, Abuja. There, He was warmly received by Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Ganiyu Adebowale, Personal Assistant to the Inspector General of Police.
