Ujevwu Youths Declare Support for Andrew Dokie In UUC Election
The youth of Ujevwu Community in Udu Local Government Area have officially endorsed Evangelist Andrew Dokie as their preferred candidate for President in the forthcoming Union of Udu Communities (UUC) election.
In a statement released on behalf of the group, Mr. Kudoye Edesiri highlighted that the decision was based on Evangelist Dokie’s impressive track record of leadership and community development. Having previously served as both the 1st and 2nd Vice President of the Union of Udu Communities, as well as a former President of Ujevwu Community, Dokie is credited with spearheading various infrastructural projects and effectively tackling security challenges, including the eradication of cult-related activities in Ujevwu.
According to the statement, Evangelist Dokie’s leadership has earned him the admiration of Ujevwu sons and daughters, both locally and in the diaspora. The group further condemned what they described as an undemocratic and unconstitutional endorsement of another candidate running for the same position, insisting that due process and fairness must guide the election process.
As the election draws closer, the endorsement of Evangelist Andrew Dokie by Ujevwu youths is expected to influence the dynamics of the contest within the Union of Udu Communities
