Ukodhiko celebrates Ex-Delta Governor, Uduaghan at 70
Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, has congratulated elder-statesman and former Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, as he marks his 70th birth anniversary.
The House of Representatives member in statement on Tuesday at Abuja, lauded the former Governor for his invaluable contributions to Delta’s, nay, Nigeria’s development, describing him as a symbol of peace and unity.
The Isoko federal lawmaker remarked, “Your Excellency, you’re a man of elevated virtues with an undimmed passion of service to the people, possessing the qualities of courage, tenacity, faith and perseverance.
“As a significant voice of reason and vision in Delta State, your ideas and foresight were at play when you envisioned the recreation of our State economy that thrive without crude oil during your tenure as Governor.” He added.
Hon. Ukodhiko said; On behalf of my family and people of Isoko Federal Constituency, I congratulate foremost medical doctor and former Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, CON, as he attains the septuagenarian age of 70.
“Your Excellency, we celebrate your attainment of the biblical age of three score and ten as you continue to represent a model of diligence, courage, commitment, excellence and benevolent leadership.
“You’re a symbol of peace, progress and unity of our State, and party, the PDP, and we appreciate your unwavering support and leading role you played during party’s campaign at an obviously critical time as a dedicated party leader.”
Hon. Ukodhiko, Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Science and Technology prayed to God to bless the former Delta State Governor, Dr. Uduaghan long life in good health and happiness as he continues to be of service to humanity.
