Team Eddie Onosorhue Celebrates PDP’s Oyibode with Cultural Showcase.

Owhrode, Delta State – The Owhrode community in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State came alive with vibrant festivities as a formidable pressure group known as Team Eddie Onosorhue, led by Deacon Eddie Ono-Sorhue, welcomed the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmanship candidate, Olorogun Vincent Oyibode Ogheneruemu, and the Udu PDP Campaign Organisation.
The event, held at Owhrode Ward 02, featured performances by the Udje Owhrode cultural group and an engaging freestyle football entertainment.

Deacon Eddie Ono-Sorhue, a Member of the Delta State Advisory and Peace Building Council who is the director General of the group played a pivotal role in organizing the grand reception as the event highlighted the rich cultural heritage of Owhrode.

Vincent Sire Ighoteguolo, the coordinator of Team Eddie Onosorhue, and Comrade Okiemute Onosorhue, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Political Matters, also supported the event. Their combined efforts contributed to the event’s success, which was attended by various dignitaries and community members.

During the event, Hon. Henry Sakpra, Coordinator of the Udu PDP Campaign Organisation, praised Team Eddie Onosorhue for their exceptional efforts in organizing the event. He awarded them the title of “Best Entertaining Team” for their ability to captivate and engage the audience with their well-orchestrated cultural and sports activities.

Olorogun Vincent Oyibode Ogheneruemu, the PDP Chairmanship candidate, thanked the Owhrode community for their enthusiastic support. He highlighted his commitment to promoting cultural preservation and development initiatives within the local government area, promising to bring positive change and progress if elected.

The event concluded with a display of traditional dances and football skills, leaving attendees entertained and optimistic about the future of their community under potential new leadership. The successful reception in Owhrode Ward 02 sets a promising tone for the PDP’s campaign as they continue to engage with various communities across Udu Local Government Area.
