Ayoma Raises Concerns Over Riverine Communities Under Development, Urges DTSG, Other Agencies to Intervene.

Olorogun Freeborn Ayoma has expressed concerns about the underdevelopment of certain riverine communities, urging the Delta State Government, NDCC, Desopadec, and other agencies to construct a reliable link road from Kiagbodo, Igodo to Ogbonegbene community. He emphasized the need for electricity in various Ijaw communities, stressing that they contribute significantly to the state’s economy.
During a visit to an Ijaw Community,Ogbonegbene, Ayoma, accompanied by Olorogun Clement Waka, over the preparation of his friend’s father burial Late Chief Egberike coming up on Sunday 4th March 2024, highlighted the challenges of living without proper infrastructure and electricity in the modern age. He called for attention to the grievances of Okwuama and Okoloba, urging them to avoid further crises, emphasizing that conflicts hinder economic growth and development.
Ayoma and Chief Clement Waka extended gratitude to the Ogbonegbene Community exco for the warm reception during their brief visit, promising to attend the funeral ceremony on February 14, 2024. The Ogbonegbene Community president assured 100% security for the burial event.
Ayoma further called on those traveling to Riverine Communities to use okwagbe waterside because it is safe.
