Asiuwhu dissolves environmental marshals operating in Delta, says action necessary for restructuring
Chairman of the Delta state taskforce on environment, Chief Comr. Godspower Omafuvwe Asiuwhu JP has dissolved all environmental marshals operating in the state.
In a statement signed and made available to journalists by the media department of the taskforce, Asiuwhu said the dissolution would take effect on December 27th, 2023.
He said the dissolution was due to the need for professionalism and restructuring of the marshals in line with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE agenda and to deal with current challenges in the taskforce.
He called on the dissolved marshals, coordinators, and supervisors to handover all properties in their possession to the director of administration while wishing them well in their future endeavours.
