Inauguration: Tulu, PDP Women Leaders Congratulates Oborevwori, Guwor, Ereyitomi, Others

Hon. Rose Tulu former Leader of Warri South West Local Government legislative Arm, Madam Christy Omamofe, Woman LGA Leader and Madam Patient Uwanikona, has congratulated Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on his successful inauguration as the Governor of Delta State and Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor as Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA) and Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi as Member Representing Warri Federal Constituency in the National Assembly.
The trio made this statement when PDP women from Ijaw and Itsekiri extraction paid a courtesy visit to Tulu at her residence in Warri also congratulated Governor Sheriff on his 60th birthday celebration, expressing confidence that with Sheriff as the Governor of Delta state and Hon. Guwor as speaker, there will be better life for the citizenry across the state.
They noted that the MORE agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration is a well designed template that will transform the entire state as a continuation of the immediate past Governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa’s administration.
They said; “We the PDP women from ijaw and Itsekiri in Warri South West LGA are very happy over the emergence of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as the Governor of Delta state, Hon. Emomotimi Guwor as Speaker, Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi as Member Representing Warri Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. David Tonwe, Director General, Security Matters/Coordinator Operation Delta Hawk and Chief Boro Matthew Opudu, Chairman Delta state Waterways and Land Security Committee.
“And we are confidence that with these persons in the helms of affairs, there will be steady development across communities with in a shortest possible time; this is because the trio of Governor Sheriff and Rt. Hon. Guwor and Hon.Thomas and other appointees have listening ears and they know the pains of our people and the suffering we have undergone over the years. So we are confident that they will not disappoint us”.
“Now that the speaker of the state house of assembly has emerged, the govenor will hit the ground running with his ‘MORE’ agenda; therefore, we strongly appeal for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to remember the women in the ongoing appointments into his administration because we need to feel a sense of belonging as women in his administration”.
“Your Excellency, we strongly appeal to you to look deeply into our passionate request to appoint women into your government. We have worked over the years consistently, therefore we believe that you will listen to our request.”
While congratulating Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi on his re-election into the hallowed chamber of the National assembly, the women leaders further commended him for always making laws that will attract development and enhance the growth of the Warri federal constituency.
