Udu Council Chairman receives commendation for Reviving Adult Education Program in Udu.

The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Area, Olorogun (Hon) Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode , JP, FCIA, FABS, has been commended by the Joint Entrepreneurs Forum for his administration’s bold step in reviving Adult Education in Udu Kingdom.

The Forum described the move as a demonstration of the Council Boss’s commitment to the progress, development, and inclusive growth of Udu LGA.

In a statement, the Entrepreneurs noted that the revitalization of the long-abandoned Adult Education Program shows that ‘ the Olorogun (Hon) Oyibode’s administration understands the critical importance of education to societal development and economic empowerment.

This singular act has again proven to Udu people that the Oyibode-led administration is people-oriented and focused on human capital development. By bringing back Adult Education, many men and women who missed formal schooling will now have the opportunity to learn, become literate, and contribute meaningfully to the growth of Udu Kingdom,” the Forum stated.

They further emphasized that the revived Adult Education program will add significant value to artisans, market women, entrepreneurs, and other adults in the area by equipping them with basic literacy, numeracy, and life skills needed to improve their businesses and livelihoods.

The Joint Entrepreneurs Forum lauded the Council Chairman for thinking beyond infrastructure and focusing on programs that directly uplift the people at the grassroots.
