Ibori-Suenu Wins Confidence of Political Stakeholders As 2027 Support Grows

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ethiope Federal Constituency has sent a powerful message of unity and dominance, as a galaxy of political heavyweights and grassroots stakeholders unanimously endorsed Rt. Hon. Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu for a second term in the House of Representatives.

The declaration, which took the form of a massive rally at the Oghara Township Stadium, drew an unprecedented crowd of party leaders, youth organizations, women’s groups, and solidarity movements from across the constituency. The atmosphere was electric with vibrant cultural displays and synchronized solidarity chants from various political pressure groups, signaling a movement rather than a mere political event.

The rally was headlined by an extraordinary assembly of dignitaries including Chief Paulinus Akpeki, Chief Ighoyota Amori, and former federal lawmaker Rt. Hon. Chief Dr. Ben Rollands Igbakpa. Also present were Rt. Hon. Chief Halims Agoda and the NDDC Delta State Representative, Rt. Hon. Chief Monday Igbuya. The executive arm was represented by Chief Sunday Onoriode, Director of Protocols (DOP) to the Governor.

Taking turns at the podium, constituency leaders praised Ibori-Suenu’s legislative track record, highlighting her impactful grassroots empowerment programs, inclusive leadership style, and strategic development projects. They emphasized that her performance since taking office has significantly fortified the APC’s political footprint throughout Delta State.

The endorsement was further weighted by the presence of Chief Hope Abijor, Chief Joseph Ogunje, Rt. Hon. Chief Henry Eghwubare, and the Vice Chairman of Ethiope West Local Government Council, Hon. Austin Atomre. Other notable dignitaries included Chief Faith Majemite, Pastor Godwin Akpovie, Chief Chris Onogba, Pastor Julius Iyarhe, and Chief Abutoh Prince Charles.

In her response, Rt. Hon. Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu thanked the party leadership and constituents for their overwhelming show of confidence. She vowed to sustain her high-impact representation, secure more federal infrastructure for the constituency, and prioritize human capital development.

Meanwhile, Hon. Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu today paid a thank-you and consultation visit to Senator Chief Ighoyota Amori at his Mosoga country home. The meeting transcended a routine courtesy call, marking the dawn of a renewed partnership rooted in years of political solidarity and mutual respect.

The elder statesman warmly reminisced on how he has consistently stood by her through the years, reaffirming his unwavering support and offering heartfelt prayers for her reelection bid, which he confidently described as a “done deal.”

The atmosphere was further strengthened by the presence of other key leaders and stakeholders across Ethiope Federal and Ethiope West, whose attendance underscored a shared commitment to unity and progress. Their solidarity reflects a common resolve to consolidate gains, foster peace, and drive development for the people.

What emerged from the gathering was clear: unity is returning, strength is being consolidated, and Ethiope Federal is positioning itself for greater progress in the years ahead.
