PATANI VISION 2027: Trakiriowei Harry Thankgod Unveils Development Blueprint for Constituency

A frontline aspirant for the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), Patani Constituency, Trakiriowei Harry Thankgod, has unveiled an ambitious development agenda tagged “Patani Vision 2027,” aimed at repositioning the local government area for sustainable growth and inclusive development.

In a statement addressed to the people of Patani Local Government Area, Thankgod described the initiative as more than a political slogan, noting that it represents a firm commitment to progress, unity, and improved living standards for all residents.

He lamented that the area has, over the years, grappled with developmental challenges that have hindered its growth, but expressed optimism that a new era of transformation is possible through collective effort and purposeful leadership.

According to him, the vision is anchored on key priority areas, including economic empowerment, quality education, healthcare improvement, infrastructure development, and inclusiveness for youths and women.

On economic growth, the aspirant emphasized the need to create opportunities for farmers, traders, and entrepreneurs through targeted support programmes, skills acquisition initiatives, and improved access to funding.

He also pledged to prioritize education by investing in schools, enhancing teacher capacity, and ensuring that every child in Patani has access to quality learning opportunities.

In the area of healthcare, Thankgod assured that efforts would be made to strengthen health centres to deliver affordable and reliable services across communities.

Speaking further, he highlighted the importance of infrastructure development, particularly in the areas of road construction, water supply, and electricity, noting that these are critical to driving economic activities and improving connectivity within the local government.

He equally stressed the need for active participation of youths and women in governance and development processes, describing them as vital stakeholders in building a better society.

Thankgod called on the people of Patani to embrace unity and work together to actualize the vision, urging them to choose progress over stagnation.

“Patani Vision 2027 is a new dawn and a pathway to a better future for our people. Together, we can restore hope, rebuild trust, and create a Patani that works for everyone,” he said.

He further sought the support of constituents ahead of the 2027 elections, reaffirming his commitment to delivering people-oriented representation if elected into the Delta State House of Assembly.

The Patani Vision 2027 agenda is already generating conversations among stakeholders, with many expressing hope that it could mark the beginning of a transformative phase in the area’s development trajectory.
