2027: Udu CBM Director Opuama Charges Udu Ward Coordinators on Unity, Grassroots Mobilization

The Director of the City Boy Movement, Udu Local Government Chapter who also serves as Supervisor for Youths, Sports and Women Affairs in Udu Local Government Council, Comrade Obruche Emmanuel Opuama has urged Ward Coordinators to intensify grassroots mobilisation efforts in support of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Comrade Opuama made the call on Monday, March 30, 2026, during a strategic meeting with executives and Ward Coordinators of the movement held at Gas Plant Hotel, Otor-Udu.

While addressing the wards Coordinators and others he stressed the importance of unity, dedication, and proactive engagement at the grassroots, noting that the party’s success in the forthcoming elections will depend significantly on the effectiveness and commitment of coordinators across all wards.

He described the City Boy Movement
an initiative associated with Seyi Tinubu as a formidable political pressure group focused on protecting civic rights, empowering communities, and creating sustainable opportunities for young people.

The Director further charged Ward Coordinators to collaborate closely with Unit Coordinators to ensure proper coordination, effective dissemination of information, and increased voter mobilisation within their respective areas.

In a demonstration of solidarity, members of the movement passed a vote of confidence on Governor Oborevwori, the Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, and other key political leaders, commending their leadership and developmental strides.
